Soda Machine Films is debuting with A NORMAL WOMAN (2025) directed by Lucky Kuswandi. This Netflix Original Film will soon be available for global streaming on the platform.
We are also presently engaged in the development of multiple feature films and series, inclusive of an upcoming Netflix series scheduled for release in 2026.

  • Founder, President of Creative

    Lucky Kuswandi is an Indonesian writer and director whose films have gained international recognition, appearing in numerous film festivals including Cannes, Berlin, Tokyo, and Singapore. His filmography includes Madame X (2010), In the Absence of the Sun (2013), and the Netflix Originals Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens (2020) and Dear David (2023). Notably, his short film The Fox Exploits the Tiger’s Might competed in the Cannes' Semaine de la Critique in 2015, a milestone as it was the first Indonesian film to be selected for this section in 26 years.

  • Founder, Producer

    Kevin Ryan Himawan stands as a prominent emerging producer in Indonesia. He commenced his producing career with Screenplay Bumi Langit Pictures in 2019, contributing to productions such as Sri Asih (2022), Virgo and the Sparklings (2023), and the Disney+ Hotstar original series Tira (2023). 

  • Head of Creative

    Aline Djayasukmana is a writer and showrunner specializing in narratives that explore intricate interpersonal relationships. She has contributed her expertise to numerous production entities, including Come and See Pictures and Screenplay Bumi Langit. Her notable writing credits encompass Asal Kau Bahagia (2018), Tira (2023), and Malin Kundang (2025).

  • Junior Creative

    Ivan Tobias is a creative writer with a background in story development and intellectual property acquisition. He spent two years as part of the development team at WeTV Indonesia, where he specialized in IP sourcing and script doctoring. He also directed the short documentary Woman Who Lived on Aviary. He later served as a Creative Executive at Screenplay Films, where he contributed to the development of the series Algojo, set to premiere on Vidio in 2026.
